Strategy Manager

Entytle is a fast-growing SaaS company that is seeking an entrepreneurial-minded leader further to turbocharge growth in the manufacturing/OEM space. The primary focus of this role will be to drive growth strategies including identifying growth opportunities (products, markets, etc), strategic partnerships, investments, and building an ecosystem, all leading to growing customers and revenue.

Outcomes

  • Define the competitive landscape and evaluate potential growth opportunities (new products, new markets, new services, partnerships, and potential acquisitions)
  • Develop competitive responses to the critical competitors identified in the initial assessment
  • Keep these analyses and responses updated
  • Create a partner growth strategy, including partnerships with strategy consultants, private equity funds, other software companies, system integrators, and others in the manufacturing/OEM ecosystem
  • Execute on top growth strategies to drive Entytle revenue and ecosystem growth, including building and managing strong, mutually-beneficial partnerships with selected partners resulting in revenue growth and customer acquisition
  • Be a valuable contributor to the leadership team, work with marketing, sales, product, customer success and other teams to outline growth opportunities, define needs to be successful, collaborate with other teams to achieve success

Work/Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree likely will have MBA or other graduate degree
  • 2 to 4 years experience as a management consultant or similar
  • Experience in one or more of manufacturing, capital equipment, aftermarket, service, spare parts, and technology for manufacturers
  • Excellent analysis, listening, communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively represent
  • Entytle and communicate the value that Entytle can provide to different stakeholders
  • Executive communication, engagement and collaboration experience with senior leaders, including
  • Partners/Executives at Consulting Firms, Technology Companies and Industrial/Manufacturing companies
  • Must be able to thrive and adapt in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Excellent follow up skills and professionalism
  • High energy and a positive attitude a must
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Apps,
  • Enthusiasm to travel to meet with partners and customers to grow the company

Nice to have

  • Experience in the software industry and/or knowledge of different software applications used in the manufacturing industry (i.e., CRM, ERP, BI, Customer Data Platforms, etc)
  • Deep understanding of manufacturers and/or aftermarket parts and service

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop competitive landscape and assessment of Entytle’s relative strengths and weaknesses in different areas
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and how Entytle might address those needs
  • Analyze potential growth opportunities and prioritize based on likely ROI (investment required, potential return, risks, Entytle capabilities, etc)
  • Drive prioritized growth initiatives, both individually as well as leading others across the company in pursuit of those objectives
  • Build and sustain strategic relationships with various types of partners critical for those growth initiatives, including management consultants, system integrators, other technology providers, industry experts, etc.
  • Define and implement KPIs to track the performance of each growth initiative and use data to adjust execution
  • Represent Entytle and present the Entytle value proposition with partners, customers and at industry events
  • Create and customize presentation and communication materials for different business development strategies
  • Develop partnership models and negotiate contracts/agreements to execute on business development strategies
